The Bench

We thought of you with love today,

But that is nothing new.

We thought about you yesterday and 

the days before that too.

When we walk by with Madi,

we will look over here and smile,

we may even sit down and reflect here for a while.

Everyone who walks by this bench,

the parents, the staff, the kids, will remember the smile,

and love and live just like Kira did.

The bench is a reminder

 that life can be over too soon.

But now we have a reminder to smile,

 like you, from September until June!
